Adult Shield Selection
This afternoon we choose our team for the State Adult Shield.
We choose 3 of each variety plus up to 2 of each variety per Intermediate and Beginner members. So come along and let our club judges be the judge of your birds! All cages should be labelled with your ring code / name and the bird variety and ring number - ON THE BACK PLEASE. If you must put two birds in one show cage, please ensure they are different varieties. The club has more show cages at the hall for your use.

Tonight is our AGM plus mini show. This wont take long, followed by supper, a mini show and a chat!
Variety awards: Black-eye, Recessive Pied, Albino, Lutino, Spangle ASOV: young birds and adults.

Tonight is our club auction selection night, for member participation only. Non members are always welcome to come along of course.
Bring along the birds you would like to see in the club auction and let our club judges choose the best. The number of entries will be predetermined by the Auction Manager.
Club Bird sales day
This afternoon, bring along those birds that didnt make it into the club auction, plus any more you wish to sell.
Tables will be $20 per person and you can put any price you like on your birds.
Birds must be transported in show cages or transport boxes as per bird transport regulations.
Afternoon tea provided.

EDBS Auction
This is our only club fundraiser for the year.
You can help make it a success by entering lots of birds, helping to set up and clean up, and perform many of the tasks required during the day.

EDBS Diploma Show
Our club runs a great show. But we cant do it without support. You can help make it a success by entering lots of birds, donating raffle prizes, helping to set up and clean up, and perform many of the tasks required during the day.

Club spare bird sales
All club members are invited to bring their unwanted birds of any quality to sell during the afternoon. The event is open to the public. Note all birds to be in show cages with 1-2 birds per cage. Please bring your own cash float. A club BBQ will be held after clean up.
Young Bird Shield Selection afternoon
Bring along the birds you want to enter into the Young Bird Shield. Beginners and Inters may enter up to two extra birds if not selected for the team.
Birds must be wearing 2024 or 2025 rings (not UBCs).
If you dont have birds, come along to see our team and join in the social afterwards.
Club Auction selection
Bring your birds you would like to put into the auction. Beginners, Intermediates and Open are all encouraged to enter birds for this blind selection. Bring as many birds as you like. A maximum of 12 birds per member (single or partnership) will be accepted.
Note: our champions will receive an invitation to enter up to about 10 birds to the auction.
Annual General Meeting
The meeting should be quick with plenty of time to socialise.

Come along to see some of our breeders being asked for their tips on producing the best budgies. prepare your own questions to ask them at the end.

Beginners and Intermediates may enter extra birds, but please bring them along as we often have gaps in our classes to be filled
